Climbing Diamond Head Crater

Diamond Head Crater is Hawaii's most famous landmark and makes for some great views from many different locations on the island of Oahu. In addition, the crater can be a lot of fun to climb and the view from the top is tremendous. The crater's tough, rocky path is just challenging enough to create a sense of accomplishment. It's an activity that's not for everyone, but those who are reasonably fit and healthy should be able to handle it without too much trouble. This site includes images from the various stages of the climb. Just click on the images for the larger version. For those who have either climbed the Crater in the past or plan to in the future your comments are more than welcome. You can find links to images of other scenic attractions in Oahu in the links section on the right side of the page. Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Aloha!
